Just  before Christmas Oldacres Lilli left for her new home in Sutton Coldfield with Vanessa &  Oliver Fenton.  We wish them all the best of luck and look forward to hearing how they get on.

SEWPCA Stud Judging Competition

Flydon Lafant, Oldacres Lilli and Oldacres Lulu were 1st in the three ponies owned by one owner and 2nd in the mare & two offspring class.  Hallows Stud was joint 2nd all sections in the medium stud group.

Three Shires Show

Hallows Stormin Norman was 2nd in the 2&3 year old filly /gelding class and Oldacres Lulu was 3rd in the yearling filly class.

HCWPCA Summer Medal Show

Oldacres Lulu was 4th in the yearling filly class and Hallows Stormin Norman was 2nd in the 2 year old filly/gelding class and went on to be Reserve Champion Gelding.

SCWPCA Summer Medal Show

Oldacres Lulu was 2nd in the yearling filly class and Stormin Norman was 1st in the 1,2 & 3 year old gelding class and also was Reserve Supreme Gelding.

NPS Summer Championships

Dukeshill Pipsqueak had a very good three days with the following results - 1st sec A barren mares, 1st small breeds mares any age and 2nd welsh section A & B 4 years old and over.  Oldacres Lilli had her first stay away and was 3rd sec A 2&3 year old fillies & 5th small breeds mares any age and 2nd in the welsh section A&B 2&3 year olds.

Today was one of those days that remind you why we show.
Dukeshill Pipsqueak was 1st and Reserve Champion in the mixed M&M Section (judged by Alan Robertson) with Sophie showing her then Terry took her in the NPS Home Produced (judge Mrs Etheridge) where she also won her class and was Champion this put her in the Supreme M&M and overall inhand Supreme.

Flydon Lavant (shown by Sophie) was not to be outdone by her stable companion and was 1st in the Welsh Sec A 4 + class (judge Mrs Etheridge) and then went on to be Reserve Welsh Champion.

In the Supreme M&M Championship judge Alison Squires chose Lavant as her Reserve Supreme.  In the overall in hand Supreme (judged by Alan Robertson and Miss C Smalley) which carried a total of £600 prize money, Pipsqueak was 4th and Lavant was 5th both winning £50 each.  What a fantastic day.

West Mercia WPCS Medal Show
 
As we had to pick up Dukeshill Pipsqueak from the Flydon Stud we decided to put Flydon Lavant on the lorry and go to the West Mercia show where Lavant was 2nd in the Barren Mare Class.  It was so nice to meet up with old friends and have a catch up.  A lovely day.

Flydon Lavant went to her first show for 2008 with her daughter Oldacres Lilli at SEWPCA Medal Show

Lavant won a large class of Barren Mares and Lilli was 2nd in another large class of 2 & 3 year olds.

Dukeshill Pipsqueak was 1st and Champion in the PUK Confined Novice Keston Royal Occasion Final Shown by Dain Atherden (thank you Dain)
